Helping others can be incredibly rewarding as no one deserves to go hungry. “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” – Hebrews 13:16
ACIM is helping 75-100 families in the Granville County community every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during this pandemic, and we are seeing record numbers of new clients daily. Serving that many people takes the help of many volunteers to run smoothly. Much of our summer help was teachers, students, and the deputies that work in the school system – all of whom have had to return to schools. Many of our pre-COVID volunteers are elderly with underlying conditions and can not return at this time. Will you help?
Volunteers are a critical and valuable resource for our operations and we could not do all that we do without you. A safe volunteer experience is important to us, so careful planning and attention to detail help us safely and effectively engage individuals and groups in the work of addressing food insecurity.
If you can’t commit to volunteering on a regular basis right now, we’d still love to have you! Register for a volunteer experience with no long-term commitment.
Weekly volunteer opportunities often include packing food & produce boxes….

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Sept. 23, 2020
Volunteering at ACIM is a wonderful way to make a positive difference, personally and gives back to the community in a powerful way.
ACIM has been a Godsend in support of the Butner Church Council's Food Pantry in Butner. Sue and her staff have been very gracious in supporting our food needs.
