Your financial donations enable us to provide food clothing and support to our communities in Granville County. Not all food that we distribute is donated. Some of our programs such as BackPack Buddies and School Pantries require so much food on a weekly basis, and a consistent quality of food, that we must make food purchases to keep up with the demand.
FOOD DRIVES

Canned food drives are an essential source of variety for our program and a wonderful way to engage the whole community. Thousands of non-perishable food and non-food items are given away each week to people who are hungry in our community. Could your family, business or church help with a canned-food drive? Needed items include: deluxe-types of macaroni and cheese, tuna, peanut butter, cereal, oatmeal, granola bars, packaged meals, canned soup, spaghetti sauces, tomato products, crackers, lunch-box items, condiments, personal care items, paper products, diapers, cleaning products.
For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept donations of the following: Items void of nutritional value (Candy, Vienna sausages, “Fruit” drinks made without fruit juice, Sodas, Chips), Home prepared food including canned/jarred fruits, vegetables and preserves, dented and rusted cans, items without labels.
