Every person whose life is improved or saved, stems from an act of generosity that’s purely voluntary. That’s why helping is so extraordinary when you do it.
HELP uS to help others
Your generosity makes our work possible. ACIM provides approximately 8,500 households and 22,000 people with food each year. We serve approximately 75 households each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
How much work does it take to pack and distribute over 1.3 million pounds of food ACIM collects and distributes each year to relieve hunger? It takes a massive number of volunteer hours! ACIM logs over 12,000 volunteer hours each year, but there is more food to collect, pack and distribute! We would love to have you volunteer!
NEED FOOD?
ACIM provides food to Granville County residents on Mondays (excluding holidays) from 4:00 - 6:30pm, and Wednesdays and Fridays (excluding holidays) from 9:00 - 11:30am.
In the event of inclement weather, depending on the ability of staff and volunteers to travel in safely to work, ACIM may need to close. We will announce the closure as soon as possible via our Facebook page and on WRAL-TV.
SERVICES
The mission of ACIM is to meet the basic needs of individuals. Food is the most frequently requested need provided by the organization. Strict guidelines are adhered to in order for individuals to receive provisions. Referral to other agencies is provided when applicable, as we strive to build partnerships that can help meet the needs of our community.

Since 1985, ACIM has been providing food and non-food items to Granville County residents at their point of need as a result of partnerships and donations.
